Content Roadmap

Is Hypnotherapy something covered by Health Insurance, or other types of personal care insurance? Some Private Health Insurance plans offer a way to purchase healthcare services not typically covered by the NHS or private medical insurance, such as dental care, physiotherapy, chiropractic sessions, and complementary therapies such as Hypnotherapy. This even extends to some employee benefit schemes.

So the question we are asking today is, can you cover the cost or some of the cost of the sessions with the Bohangar City Practice via your health insurance?

Insurance Cash Plans for Hypnotherapy, Bromley

The current list of providers that may have funding opportunities for therapists who are registered by the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), can be found here CNHC Cash Plans. For further information and perhaps any updates please check out this source page.

There usually is some level of competence required to meet the needs of the insurance policy and this will be the first thing to check, i.e. what is covered and what you need to look for or ask from us. Always check first, and go back and check twice. Do you reclaim the expense with a receipt, or how does reimbursement work?

I am certified by the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Some providers recognise CNHC registration, which can be an important consideration for those seeking their policy to cover the cost of complementary therapies.

Coverage can be employer-funded or individually purchased, and it operates by reimbursing claims for healthcare costs up to predetermined annual limits. Each provider’s plan covers different therapies and services, so it’s crucial for clients to thoroughly review their coverage details to ensure it meet their needs before they commit to or pay for any treatments. This due diligence is necessary for anyone considering their plan to reimburse therapy fees.

Clients should verify their insurance coverage before engaging in treatments to ensure eligibility for reimbursement of fees. Listed below are several Private Health Cash Plan providers that acknowledge CNHC registration and offer reimbursement for specific therapies under their plans. This information is sourced directly from the CNHC, as we have said a few times above, please check and double-check.

Bohangar City Practice Hypnotherapist is registered by the CNHC

Registration with the CNHC is done at the therapist level, not at the practice level, which is good news for people looking for therapy so they know the therapist they are seeing is the one qualified and registered. At this private practice, the therapist is me, and you can review my CNHC registration here Christopher Higgins CNHC registration
